The Replacement has arrived

Post by rooster »

The Rex has found a new home with the father of an Australian Superbike champion, I make sure my favourite things find good homes, and although I miss her I must admit that the Zed has lived up to everything I thought it would have and a bit more, handling and comfort were a surprise, the go componet wasn't and although I though that the 4 into 2 set up didn't look good must admit it does in the flesh and the note is quite fruity.

The bling is on order, she had a dyno run on arrival and got 118hp at the backwheel, noice :D It's a 11/03 with only 10140 km on it when it got to me :D :D :D

It looks like my 2004 Z before I crashed. Nice bike. I ended up with 131 hp @ 10400 RPM, to the rear with a power commander PCIII, some minor head work and Muzzy slip-ons. I don't know what it has now as I've added a full Muzzy 4 into 1 and am still screwing around with the tune. I recently, (Friday) tried a Factory Pro static ignition advancer, (It advances the ignition 4 degrees throughout the rev range). It totaly sucked. In neutral it sounded like it had more power as the throttle response was more crisp. In gear when riding was horrible so I removed it and put the stock rotor back in.
About 2 years ago, (more or less) I had the front forks redone by Race Tech and it made the handling much better. The stock springs in the front are not made for a 220 lb. person. They also did a revalve on the internals according to my weight and it, as stated earlier, made the handling much more stable. Cheers. :kuda:

Yes the common factor between the Rez and the Zed is the blinging, makes what you want you want for Xmas Birthday Fathers Day Good Blokes day etc easy to answer

"MADAZ Racing" quite a good note not unlike my old Kerker, maybe a few decibels quieter
