First thing they should always check. Try turning the computer off at the wall, leave it off for a few seconds, then turn it back on again.

Judging by the line out the door when I went past a NAB branch this morning you're not Robinson Crusoe.
If you bank with St George/Bank SA be careful also. They seem to have been having various IT problems with their Electronic Banking System for the last couple of weeks. We almost couldn't process a payroll last week because of a problem on their site. We got around it manually because we're one of their larger customers but if you were a small guy you would've been screwed.

I don't think its just NAB. I rang westpac earlier today to finalise the closure of a credit card and they said that the remaining credit can not be transfered at the moment because the system is down

Bloody NAB has started charging Credit Union customers $2.50 per cheque deposit out of the blue when it used to be free Needless to say they along with the other 3 big's will never get my business
