I only looked as it was in MX free paper in sydney.

Same software - but that seems to be it (?) - I only looked for a minute or so

They use the same PHP board (forum) thats all :) same template basically :D

The forum code is open source so anyone can download it to a web server and have their own extreme knitting forum. You can customize it to look totally different but its a lot of work and the standard template works quite well so most people don't change it, apart from colours and layout
