ZX12R VS Hayabusa
11 years on the debate continues...
I'm interested in hearing from people who have owned both or ridden both. I'm interested in hearing from people who have ridden either one on a race track (not just drag strip).
Not interested in hearing (too many) biased opinions...
Not interested in hearing red-necks mouth-off telling anyone who challenges them or disagrees with them to ram it up their arse.
Post links to videos if you like.
Let's keep it civil.
I have ridden both and love both.
Only ridden a Busa on the race track though.
MODERATORS, please delete the replies or the whole thread if it gets too out of hand...

Bussas are no good on the track.... the engine is uber wide hence the big bulbus fairing... there is F all ground clearance

They're two bikes I love. I chose the Busa years ago and happy with it.
Just wanted to hear more (without starting a shit fight)
robracer, forgive me if I'm wrong, but you've never ridden a Busa on the track, have you?
Regarding the width, bring your measuring tape to Eastern Creek tomorrow... you'll be surprised!

LOL get the new mag RIDER or Ride from the UK that will answer your questions or get fast bikes MACH3 the 12r's are not an ezy bike to ride(very peaky) but thats my cup of tea

Re: ZX12R VS Hayabusa
But this is a Kawasaki forum... We're bound to bag the Suzuki... Having said that I don't think any of us are going to suggest that a zx14 is good for the track... I can only think of one guy from Canberra who I've seen ride a zx14 around a track... I just don't really get the point of this thread, but maybe jonno hit upon it in his first postPan wrote:robracer wrote:Bussas are no good on the track.... the engine is uber wide hence the big bulbus fairing... there is F all ground clearance

Re: ZX12R VS Hayabusa
the 12 is not like a 14 or busa it's a peaky bike but your beast bet is to test ride each bike to suit your own satisfaction

I know where you going with this thread.
Do the same mods to a 12R as your Busa. and i think i know which bike will be a better track bike.
the 12's arent much different to the 9's. but a bit heavier.
