have a mate who in his backyard (in Frankston Sth) just put up a shed ..a BIG shed for his 3 race cars and full workshop (its got 2 full height hoists in it)
he complained (it part of the permit conditions) he had to leave 30cm between it and the fence

the lawnmower has gone too...

Looking good, but you may end up with the door in the roof if you let Stace off the chain

that sounds like the ceiling in the 4th !! so many girls......so much neck strain.dutchy wrote:.......sounds to me like you mean a differant girl in the shed for every day of the year. Sounds excessive and costly, but would be fun......
Great work on the new man-cave Billiam, it looks like there might *just* be enough room for all your toys !

Billy, how the Fuck did you get council approval for that? It takes up your whole friggin yard. At least you have less lawns to mow though.[/quote]
There was no problem getting a permit as it complies with council requirements , 1m off the fence and 1.8m off the house . Cos I have dropped the ground level at the boundary by 0.5m and kept the design low at that side it sits well with the neighbours . I discussed it with them , not that I had to , and asked if they had any problems with it . Made the rear wall the same colour as the fence and they are happy as . In fact got handed some fresh scones over the fence last Saturday while working on the back wall .
Last Saturday got the back wall sheeted before rain stopped play . The good news now is that I am out of a job for a while
so can get stuck in .

Re: Shed ? Man Cave ? Mini 4th ?
A couple of good days working on "The Shed " sees some good progress , but I am paying the price
Back is sore , shoulders sore . Hands are sore . FMD I must be getting Old .
Getting that 200 C section up was a bit of fun by myself , but great to get out of the way . Tomorrow I will finish screwing off the roof and see how many more sheets I need to order for the side walls . Going to leave the front open till after I can get a slab poured . $$$ issues may slow that down .
Another "win" yesterday was slamming a 100mm pvc pipe under the fence and into a Stormwater pit in the easement . Going to make hooking a downpipe up , real easy .

downpipe to the stormwater drain, what about mounting a narrow profile water tank and use it for watering (whats left of) the garden?
