Dumb oh crap moments

Post by Jonno »

Tuesday I was at Bunnings and in all the rush after loading half the store into the left side of the ute I locked the keys in the car, oh crap

Found some plastic packing strap, no good, bought some wire and again no good and was starting to mark the paint so gave up, damn it, called locksmith who took 2 mins to make a key and $66. Priceless. :D

So now I have this extra spare key that opens the door, i think the smart thing to do here is hide it outside the vehicle somewhere right, yep I get home and forget to do it.

Yesterday day I am at Woollies etc, same scenario loading the ute left side and I close the door, oh shite  you guessed it, keys on the seat and a locked the door
You know what, that key that the locksmith had made, it is in the ashtray of all places, you idiot I was telling myself. :x

So I settled myself and realised the door hadnt completely shut, ah ha might be in with a chance, tried wire trick again...fail...bugga i will have to cab it home and get the spare, so after resigning myself to this plan and about to dial a cab I give the left door a shove to close it properly and up came the lock button...you bloody buewdy :D followed by I am such a dumb ass

You know what, I did it again this morning making it 3 days in a row, fortunately I didn't lock the door this time, dunno what it is with this habit of tossing keys on the seat but thats gotta stop ffs

Guess what I am doing today? ;)

Locking your keys in the car again??????

Getting a magnetic key holder to stick the key to the underside of the ute???

Drinking yourself into a stupor for being such a tool, not once, not twice.....but 3 times?????

I was going to say smashing all your windows out......

Stop locking the door. If someone wants it they'll get it anyway.

Funnily enough, it was a medical specialist who first told me about CRAFT disease....I can't remember his name though
