Back from the doctors. X-Ray'd the foot. It should be all good but I've got to rest it up. Heres some pics.

Yes, yes I know it's looking a bit dirty. You've got to remember its my daily ride :D

Started it up this morning for a short moment to she if she's still ticking. From what I can see at the moment if I replace the indicator, rearset and the front brake lever she'll be good to roll again  The rearset snaped and it looks like the footpeg AND the brake lever themselves are still all good. I'll strip it all down in a couple of days and go over it properly but it's mainly all good. Not worried about the fairings. I've been thinking more and more about streetfightering it. This is just the excuse I need to make a start :kuda:

If you were doing 80 you would never have seen him, if you had sped up instead of braking....you wouldn't have hit him at all!!! ;)

Those rearsets were the same on almost every 750/7R known to man, and a few of the 6s as well.

35011-1553

Used on:

1991-2003 Ninja ZX-7R
1995-97 Ninja ZX-6R

I don't have a spare one but that's what you're looking for if you go second hand.

Be a good opportunity to put some bling on it now Dutchy. Maybe some tasty new rearsets?

Thats some shitty bad luck Corey.

At least now you can bling the beast up a bit like Strika said and its very justified ;) ;)

Good to see you didn't get injured to badly either mate :kuda: :kuda:

It's no good that it happened but it should be workers comp if it happened on the way home from work so at least your injuries will be covered and you will get the time off work to recover properly.

Happened to me years ago....I had to pay some ass wipe $10 so I could use the mobile phone to ring a tow truck and an ambulance.

BTW those aldi boots look like they are imitation leather?

If so you were really lucky not to have ripped your foot apart.

Good to hear your okay.

I don't think I'd be buying those Aldi boots again if they come apart like that!
