Any know or tried a motorcycle specific bluetooth headset in there helmet while wearing normal ear plugs?
Does it still work?

I've spent over 40 years of my life riding bikes .... the rest of it, I wasted ..
If it's got wheels or tits, it's gonna give you trouble !

I bought 2 Interphone bluetooth intercoms last year for our trip to QLD. Use them frequently and almost always with ear plugs. No problem at all 
I don't like the term insane - I prefer mentally hilarious!

I use a SENA SMH10 with very good results. Bluetooth music/ intercom/phone

I use the Nolan NCom ona N42 Helmet.
Good;
Good sound
Excellent Phone Sound(People don't know I'm on the bike most of the time)
Battery life of about 8 hours
Bad;
Helmet is noisy
Music is only Mono so you lose quality
Definitely couldn't use ear plugs with this or I wouldn't hear it
Have never used the intercom so can't comment on that.
