Certainly lucky, they can do serious damage.. I slowed for one once on the zed and it charged me only to decide last minute diving straight off the edge of the road was a better option  ....

Unreal ! Damn good job keeping her the right way up. Keep checking your bike. It's hard to imagine putting it would have come out with no damage. ;)

Bloody lucky. Those things are like bricks and they make a mess of wheels and suspension often.

this is crazy. i think if you hit it while swerving it would have been harder to keep upright. Sometimes you just need to power over them :kuda:

A mate hit one years ago..Exhaust headers were rooted..
I'd be checking your bike over again..

This was along belgrave-Gembrook road between menzies creek and the round about.

I'll go over the bike on the weekend to make sure all is ok, i'll be surprised if nothing is wrong, i'm expecting to find something. The forks look straight and wrok like normal the rim looks fine but i'll look further just in case it's cracked etc

Don't worry about the bike :? did you go back and check that the lovely little wombat was not injured. You might have killed the poor little bugger and left it on the road to be flattened by every other motorist

Hit a dead 'roo coming back from the GP several years ago .... big buggar, dead centre of road. I didn't see it 'cause I was looking to pass the car in front ... next thing I know I'm airborne ... land with a bit of a wobble .... all good !

At the refuel stop, the mate comes over and abuses me ..... his ZZR1100 is covered in digested grass that shot out of 'roos arse ! 8)
