Looks like either a 1982 GPz1100B2 with the DFI replaced by carbies, or a Z1000J ?

How much are you looking to get for this old girl ?

Hi Gos, are you interested as a possible purchase or just curious? , if the former I will pm you some details.
That said I should probably just store it away for now, perfect base for the KR1000 I want to build........ some day:-)

On the rego paper is Vin KZT10B016781 , engine KZT10BE016791, 1982 GPZ1100

I spent a LOT of time cleaning it today, hit it hard with 2500 PSI water blaster, degrease and truck wash, and started general checking over, first thing needed is to repair starter clutch, all plugs are grey but I can't do a compression test just yet, rear brake is stuck open, front binds a little.
There was no key so I had one cut today also. The bike was last ridden is 05 but rego was kept up till 09, the fuel in the carbs still smelt fresh, all the diapharms are good. A sticker on the battery indicates it was fitted in 04, it was still showing 7 volts, I topped up the cells today and put it on charge for 8 hours after which I connected it to my ZXR750 and it load tested at steady 13.5V at 3000RPM, I was amazed. Bike is missing the left side cover but if I go the KR way I won't need one.
Also there is no tacho.
cheers.....
