When I opened KSRC forum this morning I found I wasn't logged in automatically like I normally do (this happens sometimes) so I went to logon manually and got a response that I had tried exceeded the number of failed attempts so had to enter a code displayed.
Was this a site thing or has someone tried to hack into my account?

I'd change your password to something complex just incase. clear your cookies and history and run a scan for malware... just to be sure.

Yeah happens every now and then when I log in on the mobile and loose service or something.

Yes, but it's not anything personal (or related to your computer). A cycling forum that I'm on said that there have been a lot of attacks on phpbb based forums worldwide and that you should ensure you have a strong password.

Might be a Facebook thing John.....A couple week's ago my password on FB got changed and my hotmail account which was linked to here asswell!!!AND it sent out an Email to everybody in my address book...Now I change it every week 
....Not going thru the hassle it took to get access to my hotmail account again that was a PITA especially when the linked account no longer exist's

Yep same thing got back from Newcastle last night,young bloke jumped on facebook only to find out the password had been change at 2.10 am,we wernt even home then
