bad year for Rex's so far...
Yep, came off mine about 2 weeks ago, nice trip in an ambo (those guys are tops), then a couple of hours observation.
Won't say too much about the crash, other than it was a coming together with a car & trailer, apparently my fault according to the police though I'm waiting for some video from a traffic cam. I think I'm over commuting though.
Fortuanately I was well kitted up apart from wearing jeans, the boots are rooted as is my textile jacket and of course the helmet, but they all did their jobs so I'm largely ok and limped away from hospital under my own steam.
To the important stuff, it looks like the Rex is dead, the kerker is flat apparently (I've not seen the bike) plus plenty of other damage.
Not too sure what I'll do next at this stage.
Matt

Bugger mate that's no good. Glad to hear your relatively OK though.
Having recently done some research though there are some pretty good lowish K Rex's around at the moment.

Sorry to hear Matt and glad you're okay.
Be interesting to see if the Traffic Cam helps you out. Could set a nice precedent.
As for your next move, i think Vodka's at mine

Really sorry to hear about that. They've stopped making them you know.
But...bloody happy to know you came out ok. Good luck sorting the details and finding your new one.

Methoxyflurane inhaler = pain killer + anesthetic (good stuff)
Fentanyl inhaler = strong pain killer (extra good stuff)

Bummer Matt, sorry to hear about your bike but good to hear you walked away relatively unscaved.
Hope the video evidence ends up in favour.
