I recently bought a Powerbronze undertail and set to work pulling my 98 model ZX-9R apart in order to fit it. Not only did I find that this was a bigger job than I initially envisaged, I also found that it was not a simple "take the old one off, put the new one on" job. The instructions, however, are terrible. There are no pictures and the description goes as far as to say "some cutting of the original undertail may be required in order to retain the battery mount".
Well, it appears that not only will I be required to cut the undertail to retain the original battery mount, I'll also have to cut to retain the tail light mount and various other bits and pieces. 
Has anyone done this and have some step-by-step advice?
