Another theft technique I've heard of similar to what you guys are talking about is they super glue up your ignition or disc lock so you can't move the bike, and pick the bike up that night.
watch yourselves people.

Don't believe in Karma, as to have something bad happen to you then you have done something bad to someone else. Well that is the logic behind Karma.missd wrote:Thieving pricks! They will definately get whats coming to them. I totally believe in Karma. Lets look at it another way - good excuse to buy a new lid!!! When you're ready, get my number off Seiko, give me a call and I can meet you at the shop where I used to work to get you a good deal on a new one!
The stupidity of this twat stealing the helmet or anyone stealing a helmet is this -
They are not like a condom, one size does not fit all. An ill fitting helmet is potentially as dangerous as no helmet. Once you have worn a helmet in it is shaped to your head (as ugly as it is) so whilst two people may share the same size once worn it will not fit others as well. Lastly who wants a second helmet that you have sweated in. I have some old underpants if they are interested.

So the market for used condoms is pretty small then? Bugger. So much for eBay.

So do I.
Still fitted to my head !
Bit hard to steal a lid when its still attached to the owner .....
thus confirming my long-held belief that you are always better off leaving your lid on when paying for petrol !

Group Buy might tnot be a bad idea...dilligaf wrote:you can get a little helmet lock

bought one at the bike expo but haven't used it yet. probably should start using it
But to OP - seriously i hope the cops do something about it (sadly the reality is they wont, as its something of small value - compared to a bike or car) i don't even like securing mine under the seat when i can see the bike. But at a servo, thats pretty brazen

Re: low lifes (s.a)
I once lived in a secure appartment that required chipped keys and had multiple doors to get in.
I left the lockup garage downstairs in the carpark open while moving some boxes up into my room and within a single trip someone pinched my beloved bike... >:-(

I doubt the theif is a rider Nick, more likely a druggy looking for some quick cash at the pawn broker/cash convertersNaked Twin wrote:The stupidity of this twat stealing the helmet or anyone stealing a helmet is this -
