The poser option needs to have "I'm probably faster than you on my pushbike" added ;o)

Ive always wanted the 6, don't really care much what model but mostly anything from 2000 up.
Do love the look of the new 10, plus all those goodies that come standard in Australia. It just may change my way of thinking!

Re: For anyone who's had a ZX6R AND a ZX10R-New Option 4 Oth
I think this is what you're talking about?Nelso wrote:
EDIT: I just realised after looking at the other thread that you have a 2010 model. Kawasaki cut the power on them under 6000rpm in the first four gears from the factory so people that can't ride don't hurt themselves. After fitting a slip on on ours it improved acceleration down low considerably(there's a servo that closes a valve in the stock muffler that limits power down low even further!). A TRE (timing retard eliminator) and dropping a tooth on the front would completely change the bike down low but Leanne hasn't bothered doing this on hers as she never drops below 6000rpm when she's having a go so she feels it doesn't need it. If I was riding it all the time I would be fitting a TRE and changing the gearing as I am a lazy rider and don't change gears enough, hence why I have a ZRX for the road with 124Nm of torque.

Supposedly works on the 08 zx10r also
This is on a 07 zx6r
1st gear comparison,

2nd gear comparison

3rd gear comparison

Nothing graceful about a dropped valve in a 3000klm engine at 14,000rpm...... just a kind of kapooftka, clater, clatter, jiggity, clatter, bang, clunk, phwop......seiko1 wrote:Kawasaki's do not "blow up"Glen wrote:Where's the option for "have had both, really like both but because they both blew up or crapped themselves now want an Aprilia Shiver"?????? huh, wheres that option?
