intro

Post by Kwakked Up »

Hi All

I cant believe how hard this is to write on a public forum, I am not new to motorcycles but this forum caper is a new experience for me.

I love Kawis and have owned, in no particular order, a kr1, zx6rr, zzr1200, zx10r, zx12r, currently on a zx14 and am starting a rebuild on a 1977 z1000 a1 (the reason for me joining up). I have done a few laps of good old Oz on a motorcycle and had a brief and not particularly distinguished stab at club racing a couple of years ago.

I have visited this site many times over the years to pick up few tid bits of info when rebuilding the 6 and the 10 after short excursions down the track  . Now I have been reading some of the stuff on the older bikes and am blown away by the depth of knowledge of your members.

Anyway that is my intro so you know who I am. When I get a little more confident I will write to ask some stuff about the z1000 while I do my research to help me decide the best mods to make her stronger in the twisties but still keep the vibe.

cheers
Rob

G'day Rob and welcome...
Doing a few laps around this great country and racing motorcycles has got to be better than sitting in front of a computer learning how to post....Good luck with the build mate..
As the others have mentioned Gos is your man for...I'd say just about anything for the Z1000..
The Older I Get The FASTER I Was

The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck...
