Specialist motorbike insurance provider InsureMyRide has launched a campaign to introduce a dirt bike Recreational Registration Scheme in NSW, and they’re asking for support from the motor cycle fraternity to help make it happen.
Here at MCA we have petitions in-store which you can sign next time you visit or you can jump on to InsureMyRide's website and download a petition form which you, your family and friends can all sign, then post to InsureMyRide at Unit B, 12 Frederick Street, St Leonards, NSW 2065, by 30th January, 2011.

agree 100%. Its been available in Victoria now for years, and works very well down there.

The Rec.Rego scheme would actually bring in money for them - its not like every trailbike rider would just change to cheap rego, there are many strict conditions involved with rec.rego - and for most punters who use their trailbikes as a true dual-purpose bike, rec.rego is basically useless for them.
