Guys, For your info.
Me and a mate went for a run along the Putty from Singo today and found the new cafe . We met the owner over a free coffe and was told it opens tommorrow. very nice place with all new amenities ect, great for a rest and a feed/drink. Also called in at the 1/2 way roadhouse and met the new owner who is, as well opening up again. He is a scuplturist (which explains the big steel statue out the front) and plans a gallery with cafe as well.
Should be good.
Arkup.

Re: Putty Road
Oh yeah, it's about 10 klicks South of the original roadhouse, just past that big Temple near the Putty turn off. It's a couple of hundred metres off the road, but you can see it easily. They are putting signs up at the entrance tomorrow. The driveway is a bit sandy but there is a big slab of concrete for bikes to park on right outside the building.

Luv the putty and coffee along the way makes it better, however this time of year until new year is full of cops looking for an excuse to double demerit ya!
Will look out for it in 2011.....

Re: Putty Road
They are there every weekend.
Go during the week if you can, it's the best time.
They seem to concentrate on the New England H'way more during the week.
I noticed today there was a couple of areas where they have cleared the bush on some corners in the 80km/h part so they can park their cars in and and set up the Radar, which means they can get you from behind..(literally) as you exit a corner. Noticed them right in the middle of the 10 mile section (best part).

Re: Putty Road
You are correct Arkup, it would be nice to have more time off during the week to go for a run. For what its worth "Operation f@ck people over" has started in the south.
Going through nasho before 7am on Sunday, nothing. Through nasho about 8:30am, 2 patrol cars, two unmarked cars; one red and the other a green commodore HWP car. Neither of them were not in there usual hiding spots.
I think 7am is cop change over time, but im more inclined to believe its got to do with Krispy Kremes opening @ 7am
