Take some no dose for the trip. Will be as exciting as watching paint dry.
You could spice it up a little by seeing how fast you could do it, with the distinct lack of HWP as the majority are on leave until the double demerit season starts, little chance of seeing them.
If you come up via Picton Road (I gather you will) there are a few road works on the M5 which can cause heavy traffic. Two things to watch for HWP in the construction zone (he will be the only one working) and the knuckle draggers who want to merge and share your lane.

Going through the Nasho will add a stack more time to the trip. Granted it's the way most experienced riders would go but for his first long ride EVER the Nasho and then Sydney traffic might be a bit more than he is looking for at the moment.kur- wrote:....... this will be my first time riding my new zx6r for more then 20 minsthis trip will take around 1 hour 40 mins
As others have said, add your bike to your account and leave the tag at home. Maybe plan a rest stop into the trip. That is a long way to ride on a freeway on a sports bike. When you sit still on a bike at legal speeds you get very uncomfortable, I find the more corners and variation in speeds the longer I can ride before getting uncomfortable but freeway riding sucks donkey dick.
