When we did CSS there was a guy there with a bike they'd done for him and it looked pretty good, I had a look at their workshop the next day and it looked like they knew what they were doing.

Not much help but hey that's my input.

I picked up a burnt orange ZX6 2009 repairable write off them last week as a trackie for me and my partner. Haven't taken it to the track yet but happy with the bike from a couple of sneaky runs I took around the neighbourhood.

Thinking of getting race glass from them for $675 but I am not sure how that compares with wet4U setup. I do know they import their race fairings.

Hey T7, out of interest, how negotiable were they pricewise?

Hey T7, I got the other ZX6R they had there! I saw your bike there too. Looks really good.

I'm yet to take my bike out on the track but it seems alright. The assembling was sort of half arsed though so I suggest you go over yours carefully before taking it out on the track...

Problems I've found on mine:

-Radiator hose clamp was loose (leaking when under pressure and over 90ºC);
-Heaps of loose faring bolts;
-Connectors not covered with electrical tape (really, how expensive can that be?);
-The reserve fuel light stays on even with a full tank (floater seems to be stuck);
-Fuel tank has a bit of play (minimal but enough to annoy me) and I just don't know how to fix it... I've checked everything and tighten all bolts and despite looking tight there's still a bit of play. dontknow.gif

Other than the fuel tank thing, the rest is pretty easy to fix (and have been fixed - except for the fuel light cause I have a full tank atm) but it makes you wonder what else was overlooked...

It's most likely missing the rubber pads under the front edge of the tank.

Well, then that's it! Cause it has none... mother#@$%^! Such a simple thing to fix!!! Can't believe they wouldn't at least let me know they're missing! It's like I'd mind either... they're cheap as! Problem is that unless you're riding the bike or trying to tip it on the stand it won't notice the play.

Thanks for the heads up! Just ordered the rubbers! :D

I didn't have any on mine for quite a while - it's no major issue :oops:

Anyway, glad you got it sorted ;)

I haven't ridden the bike properly yet but I imagine that having the tank wobble mid turn is not exactly confidence boosting... :kuda:

I seriously doubt you'd notice it to be honest, but hey, I'm like an ape on the 600 so what would I know ;)

They weren't flexible with the price on race fairing, probably on a tight margin (i didn't get one).
I have been looking for a while and knew the price of the bike was good so I didn't bother negotiating with that either.

Can't wait for next available track day. Any chance of sneaking in a place at EC this side of Xmas is slim :roll:

If you paid what they told me you did it what was a bargain, mate! Mine was pretty much the same price.

Here is a cheap day for tomorrow..... It's for Red group, but with places available in all groups you can change if you don't want Red group. http://www.ksrc-au.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=32403

Ther are also a few places left in all groups for Saturday as well.
