RIP to the motorcyclist involved, this one happened too close to home, had a heap of people call checking on me, thanks for your thoughts guys. Condolences to his family & friends
RIP to the biker. Condolences to the loved ones too.
And also condolences to the other motorists caught up in this (through no fault of their own), but still have to live with being involved in a fatality
Road: 2005 ZX10R - not named yet
Road: 2008 Z750 - Kwak
Track: 2006 ZX6R - Yoshi (with a very Genki undertail)
Yeah second that Cath nothing nice about it, don't know the details so I don't really want to comment on the accident itself.
+ After the cops shut the road down it was chaos for traffic in the area for a few hours.
I live around the corner form there and was stuck in the traffic around 4.00pm.
My condolences to the riders family and to the driver of the Pulsar. It must be hard on her as well.
Remember, half the people you know are below average.
Bike 93 ZXR750
05 ZRX1200
05 DRZ400
Yes a work colleague of mine saw this happen, the silver car changed into the right lane to avoid a build up of traffic in the middle lane quickly and without indicating that she was doing so, leaving poor motorcyclist mate no where to go..
Unfortunately there are no laws against this apart from Neg driving which will never stop people driving like fruit loops on the road as it's less of an offense than some speeding fines, however it is still the fault of the motorcyclist by making the rear impact and clearly not riding defensively enough. We should always ride as though everyone in a cage is trying to kill us..unfortunately sometimes it can be bad luck also and hard to avoid..
thankyou to all who have posted sympathies and condolances re this accident. This guy is/was my brother and best mate and he leaves behind a 5yo son. It has been a shock to us all so thankyou from his sister on behalf of his son and family
hoffy, unfortunately he had only had the bike for less than 6 weeks, a deffensive driving course was the next course he was booked in to do, unfortunately he died before the course
Sweetie5211, thanks for posting on here. We read about these horrible events happening, but it is usually someone anonymous and 5 mins later we move on and forget about the story. But you have brought it home that little bit more, and help keep the thought of what can happen to any one of us a little more fresh.
