My brothers mate had a python fully grown had it since it was young, he had the run of the house pretty much and usually slept on the end of the bed (weird yes) but it stopped eating for months and every morning the owner would wake to find the snake lying fully stretched parallel to him on the bed. Took it to the vet as it wasn't eating properly and was told not to let the snake sleep next to him as it was measuring him up to start a feast...
