TomTom Go 750

Post by seiko1 »

Don't bother if you like to update your devices :?
I have purchased two in the last fortnight from two separate stores.
5 pc's (3x running W7 32 bit, 1 x W7 64 bit and one running good old XP 32 bit).
Not only does the PC not recognise the devices but the devices do not recognise they are connected to a PC
Pieces of shit...and mine have even stopped saying "you have reached your destination"...
now it just say's "in 300 mtrs......................" and being nut's I say in 300 mtr's fucken what bitch?

I'm about to take the Aldi pos back for a refund, and splurge on the Garmin Zumo.
I've spent over 40 years of my life riding bikes .... the rest of it, I wasted ..

I have one of these, works fine...except when I first bought it and updated the map. Then it refused to accept the new map and didn't like the old one, hence rendering it into a nice shiny paperweight.

A quick call to TomTom fixed it and not a problem since, although it does like to take me down dirt roads.
