Mate, there are plenty around, go for what ever ticlkes your fancy.

I really like my titanium Arata, PC has a trick Arrow megaphone on his and my mate Harv has a titanium Yoshi header and SS can. All three are 4-1 full systems but there are lots of 4-2 systems and slip ons as well.

The world is your oyster ;)

+1, there's a lot of good stuff around today. if youre going for slip ons, check out muzzy, leo vince, micron, ixil, you name it. I omitted Staintune on purpose, buts that just me. Just put your stock ones on the shelf, don't dick with them, just in case you go to sell later.

I ride with yoshi tri oval slip ons , personal choice though, heaps out there depending on budget. Have seen standard pipes shortened 10 inchs, looked good .

As newzthou said, "a lot of good stuff around today". there is also a lot of shit. Go with a reputable manufactor or you may loose HP rather than gain it. Muzzy for example does actual tests on the motorcycle they design there exhausts for and they work well. After a dyno tune, (with a PCIII) I had 131 rear wheel HP on my 2004 Z1000 with Muzzy slip ons. I just went to a full Muzzy 4 into 1 and it feels stronger yet although I have not dynoed it at this point. Length of the mufflers as well as the diameter make a big difference where you get your power, (mid or high RPM). You get what you pay for generally. A cheap slip on is like cheap whisky it makes you noisier but not any faster.

You could always custom make something. I did, made a customer 4-2-1. I gave it a good tune on the dyno a few days ago ( has a PC3) and put out a nice 137hp. Funny enough it still made 132hp with the restrictive baffle in so even a bad exhaust should not cost you too much power.

Give bikegearwarehouse a call, they had a big sale on Yoshi's a few months back - they were cheap!!! They may be able to still do a discount on what they are advertised at.

I wouldn't go no-name (DM), I've heard some guys with them aren't entirely happy with the quality.

I got this for a smidge over $400 recently.
