ZX10R Footpegs

Post by PeteZX12 »

I intend to soon to trade in my 06ZX12 on a new 10R. Question I have is will I be able to lower the footpegs a touch? (Hey don't laugh - I'm 191cm/100kg and need some more comfort!) I know I can buy a pair of rear-sets but I always thought they were designed & fitted to raise and set back the pegs. Chap at the bike shop says you can buy sets that will allow the pegs to be lowered. Anyone have any experience with that? I e-mailed the Kaneg folks about a week ago but haven't received a reply. Thanks in advance.

The standard rearsets don't allow for movement. Only rearsets do that as far as I am aware

You could buy one of these and use the OEM foot controls http://www.oppracing.com/products/756-l ... er-plates/

i also know Vortex do a very similar thing just keep in mind you might need a longer shift rod depending how low you want to go.

Lowering-pegs is what you are looking for - I think if you throw that term into the 'search' function of the site, you will see some photos of these.....I am pretty sure there were some photos posted up not that long ago ?

Pete from Kaneg is on holidays at the moment - that is why you have not got a return email.
