hiring bike trailer for EC

Has anyone hired one of these before for use with road bikes, doesn't seem real sturdy rated at 520kg taking two bikes on it, advice??

It'll certainly be sturdy enough. Just make sure that the two outside tracks aren't too close to the guards.
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

and watch your belly pan as the front wheel gets onto the trailer :shock: Those tyre keepers on the trailer look like they might take a chunk out of the pan as you start to level out..............

cheers for that have had that issue dragging bike over a gangway before, ended up cracking fairing around exhaust headers

I'm the Assistant Manager of Penrith Kennards and I can safely say these trailers are built sturdy like a brick shithouse.
Yesterday I hired one out for a Goldwing, on the weekend I hired one out to move a fatboy. The only complaints we get are that the bellypan can scrape easy which has been mentioned above. This is due to the ramps being very short.
At the front of the trailer it also has provision to carry 2 jerry cans.
If you need any more info on them just ask away :)

beauty cheers for that one less thing to worry about goldwing is a big rig 200kg plus, speaking of which jerry cans knew I forgot something f@#$@#%

If the ramp is too short either load it from up on the gutter or put a brick under the bottom of the ramp, makes the angle from the top of the ramp to the trailer shallower.

will do, I tigged up a 2500mm ramp hinged in the middle but it's overkill for the height of the trailer
