2011 Z750R

Post by Zoidberg »

New model Z750R was released today in Italy.

New brakes, suspension, exhaust, revised engine. Looks ok but disappointing.

Actually, I like the look of that far better than any of the last 4 z1000 models, much simpler & cleaner like original remake (03/04)

Very, very nice! Not many streetfighters really grab my attention. Although there's something about that brake fluid reservoir... :P

Pretty cool vid I found too:

In the vid it had an Akra (when it was on the track). Is that like kawasaki europe saying "you'll have to modify it almost immediately" :?

Only other photo I could find. The Akra pipe is a 'factory' affair and a wide range of accessories will apparently be on offer.

I guess my initial disappointment came because I love the current Z1000 so much and was hoping the 750 would follow in it's aggressive stance. Still, a pipe, tail tidy and some flatter 'bars and it would look pretty cool, perhaps something like this:

Unfortunately, in the latest AMCN, Kawasaki Australia reckon it's not very high on their list. :(
