Make sure you bleed the master cylinder itself. Crack the banjo bolt at the master cylinder and I bet you get bubbles. Or you could tilt the mastercylinder upwards (unbolt it from the bars of course) and very slowly apply the lever.
Did that when I bled the new lines onto the zed, it works
Good to see ya back Pete
Thanks Pete / Phil
Just so I understand - "crack the banjo bolt" means quickly loosen and then quickly tighten again?
Appreciate the help as usual.
Cheers,
Tony

I did it the same way as you do when you crack the nipple on the caliper, just its the banjo on the m/c. Pump lever, pull back and hold, crack, tighten, release lever and repeat if necessary.
Always pays to have a mate help you and use a big rag

Did as advised and much better - prob 1/3 lever until full whack but should be progressive until then. Will take out this afternoon and let you know how it goes.
Thanks guys for the advice.

BEAUTIFUL!!!
Rode to a mate's house and back, about 80kms all up.
A lot more progressive than the std m/cyl, same ultimate power but easier to modulate
All up a worthwhile change.
Still like a dog wiv 2 dicks.

Do you need a particular type of caliper (Nissin, Tokico, Brembo etc) or are they a universal fit?
They should fit any radial caliper with a 108mm bolt spacing. The supplier asked from which model bike I had sourced the calipers and he supplied the correct caliper spacers.
Still waiting on the calipers from the states so I'll update you next week!
Calipers have arrived, new pads in, brakes bled. Will have a test ride as soon as I have the rest of the bike back together! At last I have lever pressure!!
