Which rego'd Dirt squirt?

Post by Wattie »

For the same $$ amount,

Would you get a KLX450r (08 onwards)

or CR500E (01-02)

this would be rego'd for hitting the firetrails and possibly adding some 17inch spoked wheels hitting the roads occasionally.

Whatya reckon?

lot's of DRZ400's around, you could get the E varient for off road and get some road wheels for it, I got the SM 'cos I'm happy to stay on road. Also the KLX400 and DRZ400 are the same bike so you could ease your conscience of not buying green :D

Since when can you register a CR500? :)

IT490 I knew about but they're old. A registered CR500 would be fun :)

theres one in newcastle for 8500... :?

But more i read more i am crossing it off. the easy rebuilds and stuff would be ok, but im more concerned about having to pre-mix my fuel everytime i filled up. Imagine a putty loop... :?

I think its KLX450 time...

if it blows up, i'll set fire to it and call the insurance company.
