mIGHT BE IN THE MARKET FOR A NEW BIKE VERY SOON. aNY ADVICE. i LIKE THE ZX636R. aNY MODEL TO PAY EXTRA ATTENTION IN A POSITIVE WAY. any thoughts would be great

what is your budget? the 05 06 models are fantastic value for money if you can find a low K one ;)

But the extra $ he'll spend on engine mods to get the extra 36cc won't be worth it :roll:

General consensus in th 05/06 is the pick of the bunch of the 636's.

Either go a '03-'04 good bike rear suspension is a little stiff but easily fixed a roomy bike, '05 - '06 good all round can't fault mine but a very different race style ride position compared to pre mention model, AVOID the '07 - '08's lacking mid range and HP IMO or splurge and get the best of the bunch the '09- '10 best of everything trick suspension, great engine...

Like has also been said, if you can splurge go test ride a 09-10 as well 8)

just bought an 06 636 limited edition
$6600 without rego.25000k's in good nik.
haven't even got it home yet has to get the roady done.
can't wait.
I have found a fair few on the net ranging in price from around $5500 for 02's to $10'000 for a 06 limited edition with 2k on the clock.
I like the under tail exaust thats why i went 636.
