I too know the feeling. It does suck when the infrastructure that the governments puts in place to try and save lives causes the most issues.
I have found that Maguires Plastix (and a bit of fine grit paper) are the very best products for removing any minor scratches on the plastic of the bike. Black nail polish is always good at covering up the scratches on the bar ends and the leavers
I was wearing Dragin Jeans and found that the sore knee was not only from hitting the ground but the rash form the kevlar on skin too.
