Pissing off Neighbours

Post by kevindinho »

So recently i have been doing quite a bit of riding due to being free from uni, as my house is central to all of my riding buddies we usually meet up @ mine before taking off. Ive noticed that my neighbour (opposite me as i live in a cul de sac ) is getting the shits with me. Last time we gathered @ 730pm on a sunday night she came outside with her arms crossed but didnt have the guts to say anything, wtf lady its 730. Tonight i just got home around 1130pm by myself tyring to be quite as possible, she literally ran out side and stood @ her drive way, before i can even take my helmet off and just walks inside. Shes clearly not happy but the noise i make is over in like 1minutes unlike her son who takes 10mins to reverse into their driveway with his civic (please get a auto you cant drive manual for shit) or the other dude who guns his evo 9 into our street. Far out i dont see her running outside when the oldies mow their lawn @ 8am. What should i do? am i meant to appologise or someshit? shes starting to give me the shits lol.

Cheers
Kev

I think that's just ridiculous on her part and should be simply ignored. Perhaps show her that you're not happy with her attitude and give it a rev if she comes out (and quiet if she stay inside).

Is she a looker or ugly woman?

Mate, I think she might be checking you out. Or maybe she likes your bike. Next time she comes out, pull up in her drive way and ask her if she is interested in going for a ride. What have you got to lose?
You might be suprised of the outcome. ;)

just try and be nice.

Harder for them to hate you when you are nice to them. If you get along people usually tolerate more.

Half the issue maybe that she thinks that your a bad bike which is bound to bring trouble. Show her your not and things may change.

When I moved into my place I went and introduced myself to some of the neighbors. One of them had problems with the previous person who lived here because of the noise made but he's always happy to chat to me and give a wave when he sees me going for a ride now.

Pick one thing that she does, like leaving in her car, watering the lawn, checking the mail, etc, then run outside and stand there with your arms crossed whenever she does it. :)

..... I think it comes with attitude.... If you are always consistent... She can't complain...

I AM assuming your bike meets the noise levels allowed?
