It's more fun on the way up than down.
Great pie shop not far from the top at Robertson.

Lots of Blind corners watch for larger vehicles using both sides of the road on the switchbacks and be alert for crashed motorcycles trying to take you out!greg wrote:Few of KRSC riders and myself heading down to Ulladulla this weekend...![]()

Watch for trucks comming the other way, especially on weekdays. Will be a little slippery this time of year, some bits of the road never see the sungreg wrote:Few of KRSC riders and myself heading down to Ulladulla this weekend...![]()

Re: Macquarie Pass
Wish I wasnt working this weekend so I could tag along.
What time you hitting the pass? Ice can be a concern around Robertson if you going early. I would suggest turning left at Pearsons Lane which is about 1 or 2 k's out of Robertson. The first part has a few road works but once you turn right at the T intersection is good mostly open section take the left at the next T intersection and follow that road into Kangaroo Valley.

Re: Macquarie Pass
Watch out for trucks in both directions
some of them need to do a three point turn on some corners, so they may back up on you........ Others pull up and stop for no apparent reason, but they are waiting for oncomming trucks cause they talk to each other on the UHF Radio..........
I'd recommend the Robbo pub instead of the pie shop. Don't you know there is a pie and a half in every schooner
