Whats the best way to get decals and stickers off without damaging your paintwork?

fingernails, also do it in the heat of the day, the heat will soften the glue, thats your best bet, but try metho as well, also autobarn and all them sell a item called citrus spray or somethign to that effect that assists as well

I hope you aren't replacing the kwaka stickers with honda ones! :twisted:

Hair dryer & old plastic credit card, warm up the sticker & use the card to lift the edge of the sticker, use white spirit or metho to remove any remaining adhesive.
Do not use any metal scrapers or razor blades, its too easy to damage your paintwork.

if you get any sticker residue left, a bit of eucalyptus oil on a cloth and then lightly rubbed onto the residue, will get it off easily.

does this work with cars as well rob??? got a big one on my roof that is fetched

I tried to remove some on a tank that had clear over them.

My idea was to sand the clear off the top of the decals so that I could remove them...didn't work because the paint was so thin that as soon as I touched beside the decal it went straight through to the metal and that was with 800 W&D.

Ended up just nusing paint stripper and taking paint and decals off completely and getting a good bloke to repaint... :kuda:
