Im always keen for a ride out west.
But as some of the others have said, PITS is a regular sunday ritual :) Its one thing i look forward to all week, just to get out for a ride with fellow kwaka riders.
Im sure we get enough numbers, we can turn the regulars to maybe a ride and lunch out a Rylestone or something like that. Home via Sandy hollow and Putty road... just a few other ideas to throw out there.

One of my mates has been pushing for a ride out to Jenolan. I guess it would be interesting to do the ride, go for a cave tour to stretch the legs, then head back via Oberon through the back road. Last time I was on that road it was freshly resealed and not a car in sight.

Meet up at the PITS, for a pie for morning tea.
Off to Wolombi via Kulnura, for a Dr Jurds lunch.
Loop through Sandy creek Rd. Onto Freemans Dr.
Afternoon tea at the Gap & back via the F3.
All up about a easy 4/5 hour trip including BS session & pig out.
Its a pretty good ride, not bad roads,[not that great either] But a pretty enjoyable ride none the less.

Not sure about you guys, but I had a nice scratch ride this afternoon. A good couple of hours with sunshine and dry roads which was good for a change.

Righty-Oh! This weekend, most likely Sunday morning, I am doing a ride from Panthers down to the Burragorang Lookout at Nattai. I am doing the ride regardless but if anyone wants to join in you are more than welcome. The roads there are generally "authority free" so it should be enjoyable.

I was aiming for 11am myself. Besides an 8 month old boy here at home that keeps me busy, it is too damn cold :)

The meeting spot will be the carpark behind Maccas, between the Kripsy Kreme and Lone star. The route I have planned is down Mulgoa Rd, out to Warragamba and possibly a short stop to see teh view, and continue south to The Oaks, then to Nattai and the lookout. On the way home the plan was to go out through Werrombie Rd to Cobbity, up to Bringelly. Then down Greendale Rd to Wallacia and back to Penrith. The only main road usage on the whole trip will be about 8km on Northern Rd otherwise it is all rolling hills and countryside. Round trip should be around 2.5 to 3 hours not counting stops.

11am is Ok. I have a mate on a FJR1300 that would most likely come also.

After a stress and police free run down to Nattai last weekend, I am looking at heading out for another run on Saturday at 12-noon. For this trip I am looking at a repeat but also extending the run slightly to head down through Picton and up over Razorback. I was quite surprised how many bikes get up to Nattai. Must have been 30 or so waiting when we arrived.

Any takers?
