Bagster tank bag's.....

Post by Disco »

I was just wondering who distributes or where I can get one of these from?......I have found on the net they do a specific one for my bike and want to invest in one after my ginger's creek stone chip  .....And I think this bike is a keeper for a long time to come 8)

Also has anybody used one for an extended period of time and do they damage the tank at all ie dulling the paint?....

And what sort of $$$ am I looking at to get one somebody mentioned @ $400 is this about right?

Cheer's Dave...

hi dave,,,,,had my bagster since i got the 12r and still in good order,,,,,,it has a special under lining which is a good quality anti-scratch material,,,,with the bag extended it holds a fair bit,,,,,,doesn't matter how much you pay for one as it's a well worth investment,,,,to give you as a rough idea how much /12r-$660 / busa$530/ ,,,,,i think the zx14 is about the same as a busa ,,,,,so i carn't see it costing you more than the $400 mark ,,,,,,,bigger the tank ,,,,the more it costs,,,,your tank isn't as big in area as some bigger bikes,,,,,i'll talk to trev at bikebiz and see what special price he can do for you,,,,,,cheers paul

Should clarify I was after the tank protecteor part (leather and cover's the whole tank)....

Rang MCAS last friday and got a price $272.00 they need a full deposit to order it and will take 6 week's to get  .....

Still better than the $400 I originally thought...

Let us know how you end up getting on Disco. I'd be interested in something similar.

With the plastic cover on half the 14 tank, my magnetic Aldi Tank Bag doesn't stay put like it did on the 10. Even with the strap around the headstem it still moves around. I wonder if the Aldi Tank Bag would attach to the Bagstar cover.........

Well seeing as there is a thread started already... I have one for a ZX10R (04/05) in black, in awesome condition, if someone is interested make me a serious offer.... I think it was new when I bought my bike and I only had it on for about a week (I wanted to use my tank bag so took it off).

Oh there is no bag to go with it.
