nsw license suspension. nsw . not a whinge

Recently i had my license canceled on the spot for 6 months for being naughty in the rnp . Fair enough got done take it on the chin.It has been the 28 days since and plan on paying the massive fine this week.
Now my question is except for the initial fine and paper work that came along with my license being taken on the spot by the hwp am i suppose to be getting some sought of written notification from the rta and srdo regarding length of suspension and payment options . All i have is the hand written paper from the hwp .
Can anyone shed any light on this?

Once you pay the fine, the ball starts rolling, you will then get the paperwork from the RTA

hmm sounds like my old situation...

I didnt get any paperwork from the RTA or NSW Police saying ive been suspended, all i did was pay the stupidly excessive fine and waited out the 6 months.... no letter or nothing... once i counted the finals days i booked in for the L course again and got my licence back.

BUT what id do in your situation is call the RTA anyway and get EVERYTHING verified.

Dunno if they check, I did think so, but it is in the rules & regs/conditions etc for PIRD and ECRD. Not even allowed with just a Lerners permit.

Exactly. You still have a licence and can ride until you pay the fine which admits guilt, or you go to court to have the matter decided. You can stretch it out by waiting for the state debt recovery to kick in, or just pay it quick and get it over with.
