Best thing about the firestorm, its there is nothing expensive on it. No ECM to blow up, no injectors to kill with water droplets. Nothing!!
Im suprised they dont have a kick start :D
Sorry, but I have to disagree. They do have an ECU, but they also have a converter, which is prone to failure and is $800 to replace with a new one. We took the risk and replaced the converter with a second hand one which lasted about 300km and failed as well, so we now have two dead converters as mementos from the one month of ownership of an '06 Firestorm (which had less than 6000km's on it). After the second one was replaced it was ridden straight back to the dealership that had been working on it and traded it on a new bike. The mechanics advised the salesman not to trade it but the salesman didn't care and did the deal anyway. When the mechanic contacted Honda asking if they had a fix for the problem the guy they talked to said "yeah we fixed that problem with the converter, we stopped making that model bike" so it is a well known problem with Honda.
