When's the Bathurst meet ? I'd love to come along at look at some nice GPz9s.

Cheers,
Brian
Hi Brian, my apologies that I didn't have time to look into the forum as work been overloaded. Unfortunately the GPZ9 gathering is over but thery are organsing for next year. You will be able to see quite a few photos here http://picasaweb.google.com/sid.young/GPz900Ride#

I'll probably see you this weekend if you are free as I will be picking up the fairings and fuel tank in Yagoona.

Regarding my GPZ9 project....currently taking out the pulser and clutch cover for paint stripping. Bought some new bolts, HEL clutch and brake lines. 80% of the small parts had arrived from Craig and will need to see what other parts are need along the way. Have got a quote from Hi Octane Performance Coatings to refurbish the original exhaust system for $320.

I need to find someone in Sydney able to do some minor repair on exhaust as there are some small dents and scratches before bringing it to Hi Octane Performance Coatings. Anyone able to help?

Cheers.
Frankie

Been very busy at work this few months and almost did nothing on the GPZ9. finally had the time to get most of the fairing respray. Had a bit of problem with the fuel tank and cap which its been sitting for far too long and started to have major surface rust. The fuel cap was totally damage as I have to drilled it out because the bloody key got stuck in it. The fuel tank was flushed. rust treatment, and resealed for $180. Aftermarket fuel cap was ordered and now only need to prime and spray the pulser and clutch cover. At a later stage will start to sand down the rust on the radiator and the oil-cooler and have it respray as well.
