Excellent Service from VCM Bike Seats

Post by smithy5 »

Myself and Bussa visited Kev at VCM last Saturday for some seat mod's.........

Bussa got his VTR seat reshaped and recovered, I got a slight mod and a Lambswool cover for the ZX14..... I have to say i'm am totally impressed with the sericve, quality and cost..........

A few years back, I bought a lambswool cover from a Kwaka dealer for my ZZR1100 and the comparison is like chalk and cheese..... The thickness and softness of this new made to measure cover from Kev is outstanding. Kev also shaved the sides of my seat slightly, taking away the sharp edge.........

After a decent ride, I am totally wrapped with the extra comfort and just thought I would let everyone know if you are not happy with your current seat, give Kev a call and see what he can do for you. Thanks again Kev.............

Hiya,
As Brad stated, we met up with Keven, and in my case explained that my VTR1000 seat sloped forward too much, and I continiously slid forward thus placing alot of pressure on my arms, which made my ride awkward. I wanted the sides slimed and the seat levelled out as to sit in the saddle more snug.
Keven instantly knew what I was chasing and set off to trim, re-pad, grind,
level, shape and recover the seat mould with a quality foam and a non slip waterproof marine liner.
The quality of service and pricing is great.
I now feel more balanced on the bike, with my weight distribution being more equalised, my steering and cornering is more relaxed. It is amazing what improvements can arise from a small modification.
Thanks again Keven.
Cheers.
