Fell off the KSRC wagon :)

Post by mattyv74 »

Hi ya all,
What's been happening? Just logged on to have a look for a few parts and reading. F@#K IT, been 5 times in 3 days now. Thought I'd kicked the habit.
Good to see so many familary faces on here, but man there are a lot of "newbies" with 100's of posts. So it's been a while... :kuda:

Moved to Toowoomba, got married, got a job, got a few new bikes, sold a couple of bikes, new car, blah blah blah..... But seems I still got no life as I'm on here.

Anyway, Hi to everyone. Look forward to catching some time soon.

Here's my current daily rider. For those with a good memory, It's bluefly's old randy. It's had a bit of tlc since I got it back from the fatal that killed the bloke who stole it. Karma is a bicth.

Wow, I never thought RandyV would come back to life that well. Well done mate, and good to see he's back on the streets.

Tim, the full story is all on the site if you're interested, but in short - yep, karma was a bitch to some bike-thieving scumbag.

Cut along storey short, yep. Just goes to show that the world largely works out as it should. The full storey will no doubt stir things up. But I'll put it this way. The bike was registered in my name, although it wasn't mine (long storey), as the owner of the bike wouldn't cough up I coped several large speeding and toll way fines as I couldn't prove it wasn't me riding, or that it was even stolen. This actually left me with a suspension in QLD as i had a Vic license at the time. Then i got a call to say the QPS found the bike with different plates at a bad accident. Witnesses reported the rider trying to do wheelies with no gear or helmet on. Looser, but what do you expect. When i got the bike back, it was covered in low life Elf boys and Black Duck valley stickers. Since done some checking and several people at Black Duck valley are good for such things. No proof though...

The sting is since I'd signed onto (apparently this amounts to admission) and already completed my SPURS payment program, i couldn't get a refund of nearly 2k in fines once the bike was proven to be stolen, err...found. anyway, time to move on. Lifes good.

Hey guys, good to hear from you Smitty, Jase, Bill, Tim, Tanya, and Dave. No more icecream headaches from riding in the winter up here. But man leather in summer sucks!!!
Actually both the black 7 and my origional green 7 are for sale 5-6k each. Had the black on the road side today, 4 enquires, two coming for another look tomorrow. That will still leave me with one, and the 2fiddy :kuda:
Anybody know of a 17'6 everingham for sale?

Yeah, you laugh now. Just found out 10 minutes ago that Lou, my wife, has just been moved to Dalby for work. Don't piss your self now. We're not happy campers. Camping, thats about all there is to do out there...
