I have been on soap boxes about this before....

I am concerned about the privacy issues as well, however if we are forced to have GPS tracking they need to have speed limiting devices for different zones so you cannot speed therefore no possible chance of a fine. Then the safety part of the issue that they bang on and on about is sorted! (Then they might realise it hasn't fixed the real problem)

Let’s see then how addicted GrubMints are to the revenue.

So im guessing when they read my gps tracker
and discover that ive clocked up a few thousand klms and i need to pay .....6 cents a klm
and then under the mischelaneous columb
2 x exceding speed limit in 50 zone loss of points fine $220.00
1x exceding spped limit in 80 zone loss of points fine $265.00

this really is George Orwell shite isnt it

Its just as well the victorian government has factored in the revenue grab from
traffic infringements to fund the state
my question is what are they going to do when , they claim victory

and they drive all of the hoon drivers from our midst
who will pay.............how will they keep the state afloat

maybe the boyz in blue can maintain the rego check , as it reguarly occurs on the spurs
and other select roads , this would take the chore out it , coz i hate being pulled over for no reason at all
and im sure the boyz in blue would also feel good about this as it would add some meaning to their
efforts on a saturday and sunday collecting another form of revenue

+1 seiko ...;-)

cheers mick

If Speed camera's are not really revenue raising as they claim......
then why are'nt they just demerit point based?
You would still eventually lose your license but your kids school fee's from their "free Public School"
might actually get paid
Not that I ever pay the fucker's
They get enough from me with two vehcles and drinking and smoking and speeding ;)
I think I'll take up Heroin....they supply a free venue and free needles for an illegal activity :kuda:
