Have yo tried soft mounting it? like putting a bit of foam rubber (or just rubber/elastic bands, etc) around the crash knob and then zip tie the camera to that?
If it hurts, you aren't doing it right.

The crash footage wasn't to bad but the rear view from the swingarm was shocking
