So..........I went for a slide!

Post by triway »

PI track day Monday 26th April, beautiful day! First session, straight on the gas. Second session, big pb on the ZX6, into the 49's for the first time since selling the gixxer thou and climbing onto the ZX6 :D . Good times all day chasing friends, enemies, hell pretty much anyone who was in front of me! Then............hello Siberia, goodbye front wheel!

Lost the front and the bike and I parted company and found our way into the stones on the outside of the turn  Picked it up and rode back to the pit..........

Bike held up pretty well, and me, apart from a slight sore neck and a minor strained muscle in my leg, was ready to go again for the next session. :D

Such minor damage I almost can't belive how far we both slid!

Any crash you walk away from is a good crash right!

Good for you, a lot of people would not get back on. Glad you were not hurt. What kind of gear did you have on and was it damaged much? You deserve a Jim Beam or maybe 6.

Hope you have no lasting issues with the neck etc and the bike is an easy fix, pretty good all things considered.

Neck's all good, had a massage yesterday which loosened it up.

Armour Bodies is the Race glass P4nza, yep it's tough! At the repairer now, will have it back all beautiful for the 11th! :D

Had my Alpinestars leathers on, which have seen 3 crashes now, and have now been downgraded to "the spare set", since my new Spyke leathers arrived at the track Tuesday morning :D
