Re: 2011 ZX10R!!!!
I am just glad that the 'under-seat exhaust fad' seems to have had its day......
I wonder what sort of hp figures they are going to be looking at with this model ? Won't be long now, and OEM 1-litre bikes will be >200hp.....

According to the article, peak revs and hp will be similar to a screamer, maybe slighter more. It may even come close to the beamer

Re: 2011 ZX10R!!!!
i'll be alot happier when we see an actual kawasaki designed 2011. I'm getting tired of being teased with photochopped images.

I plan on living forever..............so far so good!!

Never. Give in to the beauty of the undertail zorst my friend. I know you secretly want one!Gosling1 wrote:I am just glad that the 'under-seat exhaust fad' seems to have had its day......
Between this, and Rapid's "***look - an R8***, just kidding, but if they *did* make one, it *might* look like this" bullshit, I'm ready to cancel subscriptions and just get a knitting magazine or something. Shits me to tears.

I read the article..... Thing that sparked my interest was the crank going 540 degrees between firing, with an electric motor maintaining momentum

Re: 2011 ZX10R!!!!
that entire concept is one of the strangest things I have ever seen in a bike motor. Apart from those ridiculous motors with valves that need 2 control arms ...
but seriously - an electric motor to maintain momentum ?? and 540deg between firing strokes......I will be lining up at the local dealer for a test-fang on one of these as soon as it is released. It will be the biggest bang I get this year probably
