Re: Fastest Litre Bike
What would be the cost difference between those bike? The MV, BMW, Duke and KTM all be over 25k and the ZX10 would be under 20. Makes it pretty good bang for ya buck. I'm heaps suprised that the others shit em selves

I wonder how the 04/5 and 06/7 models compare to the new one.

Bloodybuggeringhell- them be big numbers. Will it go round a corner? On their dyno the beemer makes 191rwhp.
Pull the limiter out of the 14 and she might have been a better bet for this test. (as long as there was not any corners involved)

Re: Fastest Litre Bike
Just to wake the thread up a bit more, does anyone know if this is a yearly thing? I'd be interested to see how the 2011 10r goes.
Real bravery is being afraid but doing it anyway.

Re: Fastest Litre Bike
I just read an article in the U.S. magazine Cycle World on the new 2011 ZX10R and if the hype is true it will be a world beater. They are saying 200 plus HP with a brand new redisigned engine, frame and with ABS and a new type, (Kawasaki designed) traction control. Time will tell whether it's as good as they say, but according to Kawasaki reps they have been working on it for several years. Hopefully it will kick some German butt. Cheers.
