ZEX 14

Post by smithy5 »

As some of you would already know, I replaced the 10 with a 14, last week.........

I was always going to upgrade to the 14 from my 01' ZZR1100, but I also wanted to do track days and couldn't justify two bikes at the time. So I got the 10 instead of the 14. I did a few track days on the 10 but was worried about binning it, so that justified two bikes and I picked up the 6 trackie last year, I found a quality 14 and grabbed it. Totally impressed.
It's a one owner, 2006 model, 14,500k's, new PP tyres and unmarked

And on the seventh day Richo ended his work which he had made. Decided resting was for soft cox, straddled the REX and headed up the old road.
And it was good

Thanks.......

Centre stand :o .......... Don't they all........ is this an optional extra ? or am I misssing something..........

Iv'e only ridden about 600 k's ao far, but yep.... loving it........... Great seating position, much softer ride on the shit roads around here. The 10 was an awesome bike, but a handfull. I had to concentrate every corner feeling that it just wanted to chuck itself into the ground. Where as the 14 is more relaxing and I feeel like I can just drop the bars from side to side for the corners........ a bit like a bigger, faster, sportier REX, Richo

IMO both bikes are the best available in their class, the 10 a race bike adapted to the road. The 14 a sports tourer, a great alrounder and more than enough power.......

Very impressed :D :D :D :D :D

Does that mean you are going to be able to keep up now?

Congrats on the purchase mate. Just watch out for Corral Reefs, you know how long it takes for those super-tankers to change direction or pull up. :P
