FOUND ;-) - To Borrow - Standard ZORST for 04 REX

Post by Richo »

HELP ME !!!!!

I just found out that to get the NSW blue slip for Jonos ACT registered REX, I will need the standard pipe to be fixed

Soooo . .. Would anyone out there have a standard lying around that I could borrow, just for the blue slip inspection ?? .. Otherwise Im stuffed

Its an 04 ZRX1200R currently with a Roo Racing can, but does have standard headers . . .

Fast help would be muchly appreciated ;)

EDIT: I know its a long shot ... but would my 9 standard fit?

And on the seventh day Richo ended his work which he had made. Decided resting was for soft cox, straddled the REX and headed up the old road.
And it was good

And what super fast service from the KSRC "Find a Zorst" squad ;)

Apparently Mattchan has one stashed away for a rainy day  :D so will be picking it up tonight.

Cheers Dave n Cath for spreading the word offline and for those that have put up their hand here :D

No worries mate. I have a collection of standard ZRX parts in my shed if you need anything else. Seems I have spent way too much modifying the old girl.

Nice work Richo... was in the middle of looking up parts diagrams for you from Kwaka USofA... Thankfully though I can continue monkey porn surfing for the afternoon.

Good new Richo. So did they actually use a dB meter to measure the volume of the sound, or did they just say "too loud"?

+1

When you take things to them for Blue Slips they're more interested in talking bikes and cars than checking them. They've always got some REALLY interesting vehicles in there because they do the conversions and checks for Customs Australia when people import their personal cars and bikes into australia that they CAN'T live without.

Didn't have an aftermarket pipe Rob, had the fender removed..... wish it did have an aftermarket pipe fitted, but we'll see how Owens slash and cut job goes on his stocker 8)
