INTRODUCING!!!

Post by Richo »

Ok .. so some found out last night, some today and a couple of others along the way . . but yuppers! .... I got myself a REX!!!! :butthead: :supz: :supz: :supz:

i know ... who wudda thought after spending the last two years goin on and on about a Zeddy . . .(no offence Zeddy riders . .I still reckon they rock), however I was converted over last weekend . .. .

Big thanks to Nelso for letting me take his beast for a spin last weekend through the Oxley .... I had no idea I would love it that much. :kuda:

Anyways ... wasnt thinking too much about an upgrade until the Missus reminded me that another member was selling his REX ... so ... found Jonos thread ... left numerous messages for him to call me    , sooo ... day after Gingers ride, headed down to Canberra to check out what was install for me . . .

The rest is history :kuda: :kuda: :kuda: :kuda: :kuda: :kuda:

This thing handles superbly and has torque oozing out of every hole  8) ... so a HUGE thanks to Jono for having kept such an awesome machine . .. I shall take extremely good care of her mate ;) ... I swear heads were turning all over the joint .. even caught someone taking a photo of it up at the PiTS today! ...

Great day ride today, still grinnin ... and will be for a long time yet :kuda:

Ok ... rant over ... heres some pics by my personal photographer (thanks Cath .. luv ya ;) )

Oh .... forgot to mention .. this aint no old fart bike ..

Jono has done some hard yard work on this puppy .. ;)

Re-sprung and re-valved race tech suspension (tuned by Terry Hay)
Braded lines front n back
Carby re-jetted
Lowered front - Raised rear
Roo-Racing can (not quiet  )
Rear sets
Running Super Corsas ..

Believe me .. this thing kicks serious ARSE

Great buy!

Jono spent more time doing the bike up than riding it. Its an awesome machine, you wont be disappointed......

Glad someone here bought it. That bike is a serious bit of kit.

Don't know many people that could keep up with him in the local twisties on that
