Sorry to hear, but as others have said it's good you weren't seriously hurt. Good luck with the healing and getting the bike sorted.

its never a good thing to hear when someone comes off, as mick-dundee said it could have been far worse, glad to hear that your still kicking, and hope you will be back on the road soon :)

Update: The crash repair manager was a little off when he guesstimated the repair cost. The official figure is $4500. The assesor has to sign off on it tomorrow but it's a given that it won't be written off.

and now a public service anouncement.

If you pull on things when you shouldn't you'll end up swollen and purple.
